LC-MS strengthens analytical capabilities

RSSL Pharma has strengthened its analytical capabilities with investment in a new LC-MS system. The new equipment will assist the laboratory in the identification and quantification of related substances, pharmaceutical degradation products and other contaminants. 

RSSL Pharma supports a number of pharmaceutical clients, providing a range of routine QC tests, stability studies and investigative analyses. The new LC-MS system will assist in all these areas, providing quick and sensitive detection and identification of chemical impurities. The new instrument will also be used to prepare data for inclusion in the registration application dossiers for herbal medicines, as required by EU Directive 2004/24/EC.
