New MD for RSSL

Rich Pond has been appointed as Managing Director of Reading Scientific Services Limited.

Rich, who is from New Jersey, is a graduate of Duke University in Mechanical Engineering and has an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Rich's early career in the Food industry was with General Mills where he held a series of increasingly senior marketing and innovation roles in both the USA and UK.  He joined Warner Lambert in 1998 and has held various marketing and innovation positions with Warner Lambert, Pfizer and Cadbury Schweppes.

Rich's broad business knowledge brings a wealth of new experience to RSSL, particularly in the technology and management of innovation and New Product Development. He is committed to build on RSSL's reputation as one of the premier scientific organisations in the UK, by keeping it at the cutting edge of science and technology and supporting the needs of all its clients, worldwide.

Regarding his appointment, Rich said, 'RSSL is a great organisation and holds an admired position in the field of Scientific and Technical Outsourcing. I am truly delighted to be in this new role and to have the opportunity to build on the success it has achieved by delivering science with service.'
