RSSL at IFE
RSSL will be exhibiting on stand NB1104 at the IFE show in London's Excel from March 18-21.
RSSL staff will be on hand to discuss the full range of analytical, new product development and training services offered by the company.
RSSL will use the show as a platform to launch new services in testing for Omega 3 fatty acids. Scientists at RSSL can now quantify this important ingredient in a range of food matrices, and use the test results to substantiate labelling claims. This new work augments existing services in this area, such as tests for vitamins, mineral, sterols, stanols and other ingredients vital to the development of functional foods.
On the development theme, RSSL LinTech continues to assist companies in developing new ranges of functional foods, as well as low sugar and low fat versions of existing brands.
RSSL LinTech's NPD work is often supported by RSSL's Sensory and Consumer Guidance department, and its expertise is also being utilised by RSSL Food Training in two new courses. 'Introduction to Sensory Evaluation' and 'Intermediate Sensory Evaluation' are two courses that are being developed and will be added to RSSL Food Training's portfolio for the first time in 2007. There are also revised courses in HACCP and Food Safety, which will be promoted at IFE.
