Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)

Microbiological studies that have a regulatory requirement to be GLP compliant are performed following RSSL's GLP quality system, which encompasses all the relevant requirements such as Study Plan, Study Director, Final Report audit by the Quality Assurance Unit, etc. If a client wishes a study to be performed according to GLP but there is no regulatory requirement for it to be compliant, we can still perform the study to GLP standards, but we are not permitted to issue a statement of GLP compliance for the study.

RSSL has been issued a statement of compliance with the Principles of Good Laboratory Practice, Directive 2004/9/EC, by the UK GLP Monitoring Authority.

GLP studies can be accommodated in other RSSL laboratories.  RSSL would need to inform the UK GLP Monitoring Authority.
