RSSL has appointed Philip Payne as its new Investigative Partner, providing manufacturers of pharmaceuticals, APIs and excipients with support in addressing problems that have led to 'out of specification' test results. He will provide hands-on quality and process improvement support, addressing quality issues within the client's own site and across their supply chain. RSSL can also provide training in topics such as GMP, GDP and quality management, as well as auditing to lead assessor and internal corporate standards.
Philip joined RSSL in 2007 as Business Development Manager and since joining has boosted membership of RSSL's flagship Emergency Response Service, which provides immediate analytical support to manufacturers at a time of a product crisis. He previously worked for Italian API producer Steroid, in a variety of technical roles including research, production, procurement and setting up of the Quality Assurance department. Philip has wide experience of setting up quality systems and due diligence procedures, and in addressing issues such as counterfeiting and supply chain integrity.
