Do you need to understand whether your new speciality ingredient has an opportunity in a fast moving market place?

If so, RSSL's Product and Innovation Department can provide an understanding of the viability of new ingredients and explore the reality of apparent ingredient opportunities.

Using our product and ingredient expertise we identify the key functionalities provided by new ingredients.  Evaluation in a wide range of product systems will identify those applications having the greatest potential.

In summary our wealth of new ingredient expertise can be applied to:

  • Identify market sectors as potential applications for new ingredients
  • Evaluate competitor ingredients
  • Position products in the market

Following new ingredient evaluation we are able to assist with sample preparation to demonstrate new ingredient performance in real new product development.

Demonstration new products are prepared at laboratory or pilot scale, as appropriate.

Samples are packaged in relevant packaging materials. 

New Product Development demonstration samples may be required when launching a new food ingredient.  We prepare the required number of samples to be used at an exhibition or by your internal sales team for their customer presentations.
