Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA)

RSSL Pharma has a Mettler Toledo Thermogravimetric analyser TGA851 for analysing pharmaceuticals as part of our stability testing protocols, in conjunction with other physical methods, such as tablet hardness and dissolution. The instrument can also for used for investigative studies.

The potential applications of TGA include:

• Quantification of free / bound and total moisture content
• Thermal stability of materials
• Oxidative stability
• Filler / Ash content
