Food companies all appreciate that foreign materials in their products cause concern and frequently result in customer complaints. This new workshop is designed for personnel with responsibility for controlling foreign body contamination of food products during manufacturing, whether through prevention or detection/removal and also for people joining the food industry and who need to understand the standards and approaches expected within the industry. Foreign material contamination of foods can be a significant problem for food businesses and many disciplines within the business e.g. production, cleaning, technical/quality, engineering and purchasing have a very valuable role to play in minimising product contamination, thereby protecting the consumer and the image of the business.
This workshop is designed to be very interactive and offers delegates the opportunity to challenge their approach to controlling foreign bodies, to re-design and/or validate their approach with a view to improvement. The workshop may pay for itself in a short period, where delegates have the opportunity to identify and implement improvements on return to their work environment!
