24th June 2008
1st October 2008 Internal audits are a requirement of a number of certification standards. The BRC Global Food Standard requires that internal audits are carried out by 'appropriately trained, competent auditors' and this 1-day intensive workshop is aimed at new auditors to provide an overview of the auditing protocol. It introduces the theory of internal auditing and provides practical experience in obtaining objective evidence from an audit trail.
The workshop covers everything needed to set up an audit programme, planning, preparation of checklists and overcoming problems. The course is aimed primarily at delegates having responsibility for internal auditing, however, it will assist anyone who deals with the management of the audit process or those on the receiving end of an audit. No previous experience of auditing is necessary.
