Leadership & Supervisory Skills
Dates:
24th - 25th September 2008 Course cost: £630 + VAT
An invaluable course that provides real skills and demonstrates how you can motivate staff and get the best out of yourself and your team.
This course is aimed at both current and prospective Team Leaders and Supervisors. It will provide these integral line management personnel, whose technical skills may be undoubted but whose leadership and supervisory skills often suffer under-investment, with a series of pragmatic management tools that can actually be deployed in the work place.
This course will also highlight how effective motivation and delegation can affect individual, group and organisational performance and how we often fail to sufficiently motivate our employees and continue to delegate inefficiently. During the course, delegates will take an in depth look at the essential principles associated with effective performance in both of these areas. In addition, by introducing team working principles, process analysis and effective communication skills, the course will show how collections of individuals can be transformed into productive, harmonious and efficient organisational units.
This is an highly interactive course that is designed for those Team Leaders and Supervisors tasked with both inspiring individuals and newly formed groups and 'breathing life' back into those that may be either 'turned-off' or 'flagging'. The course will build from the basics, be free from 'management-jargon', be of practical value and lead delegates to appreciate the workings of their respective groups and, perhaps most importantly, themselves.
