Every day the food industry supplies millions of food items to consumers around the world. There are occasions when mistakes occur and a number of international incidents have recently focused consumer and regulatory concerns on the safety systems in place that enable products to be withdrawn from the marketplace. The importance of such support procedures is an acknowledged part of a quality organisations's systems and is recognised in a number of accreditation standards such as British Retail Consortium Global Standard (BRC) and ISO 9001:2000.
This one day workshop provides practical guidance on the development and operation of recall plans and traceability systems, to provide customer and consumer protection therefore minimising the commercial impact to the business.
This course is aimed at Technical Managers, Business Unit Managers and anybody involved in a crisis management team.
