Scope

This workshop based course covers responsibilities of the Qualified & Responsible Persons within the supply chain.  It also looks at extended supply chains, shipping conditions and counterfeits and the current regulatory climate and reasons for concern, recognizing that two current  MHRA hot topics include the supply chain weak links and the risks from illegal entry of  counterfeit products. This RSSL certificated course also offers an assessment of knowledge for CPD purposes.

Qualified Persons who audit contract distributors, responsible persons, quality assurance Managers and key staff and Supply chain auditors and Managers.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course you:

  • Will understand the risks from use of extended supply chains both within & outside EU including the risk posed by counterfeit products and how to best secure your supply.
  • Will know the ‘Must have’s’ which should be in Technical Agreements.
  • Will know how to evaluate temperature records and manage excursions
  • Will understand regulatory expectations of GDP/GMP and importation into the EU
  • Know what to focus on during audits
  • Will know how to check the bona fides of suppliers in the supply chain
  • Will understand validation of insulated containers
  • Will understand Best Practice in respect of batch certification/release at Distributors
