What's it all about?

"QP: Custodian of Quality or Piggy in the Middle?"

These meetings provide you with opportunity to network in an informal environment; key tutors will briefly introduce controversial and current topics before encouraging you to increase your ‘argumentative muscle’ in small group discussions. Whilst they will remain on hand to facilitate and give their views if challenged, you will be the drivers of the pace and direction of the discussion. Invaluable for increasing your exposure to key issues before an impending Viva, these sessions are also great for continuous personal development or the place to find out what is really involved in becoming a QP. Please join us – the more the merrier and the better the debate!

What format will it take?

'Kick-Off Session' - by RSSL QP Programme Tutors

Series of Group Discussions around progressive Case Study - individuals will be allocated to different groups through the day, giving an opportunity to share and challenge views.

Tutors will be on hand throughout, to facilitate, challenge and add comment

Final Plenary Session for feedback and wrap-up

Who is it for?

Existing QP's - bring along your experiences, discuss tricky issues and share best practice in the search for solutions.

QP's in Training - come along and find out how to 'survive the viva', and prepare for the life ahead.

Potential QP's - perhaps you have reservations about what is actually involved in training and qualifying, or feel you would like to know more about what life as a QP is really like before you make that commitment

RPs or potential RPs - add your perspective to the debate, and hear what the QP has to say
