This course examines the key issues that are required to give a Qualified Person a sound understanding of Pharmaceutical Microbiology.

Delegates on the course will be tutored on the main types and sources of micro-organisms and the issues associated with them in relation to pharmaceutical production. These include water systems, clean room design and operation, and the notion of sterilisation and sterility assurance.

Key aspects relating to the monitoring and testing of sterile and non-sterile products and raw materials will also be highlighted and explained.
