We are able to analyse vitamins in a range of matrices including drinks, fortified foods, pre-mixes and multivitamin tablets.

Storage stability is often required during product development to ensure that the required levels of vitamins are still available at a products end of shelf-life, substantiating health and nutritional claims. Our range of controlled stability cabinets cover all the recommended ICH conditions.

RSSL has validated methods to determine water soluble vitamins (C, B1, B2 B3, B5, B6,B7, B9 and B12 ) and fat soluble vitamins (A, E and D). Whilst B vitamins can be difficult to analyse in solids, in response to industry needs, we have developed and validated a low detection limit test using UPLC-MS (liquid chromatography - mass spectrometry).

Using state of art technology we are able to offer screening services for a comprehensive range of minerals and heavy metals by Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS).
