UK Recalls

**Loch Arthur Creamery Criffel unpasteurised cheese recalled
Batches of Criffel unpasteurised cheese have been recalled by Loch Arthur Creamery due to the presence of Listeria monocytogenes. This can be harmful to groups such as pregnant women, unborn and newborn babies, and those with reduced immunity – in particular the over-60s. (FSA)

**Goupie chocolate products withdrawn
Goupie is withdrawing some of their chocolate products because they contain barley and/or milk which are not mentioned in the allergen information on the product labels. In the ingredient list, barley is described as malt flour and milk is described as whey powder. This makes the products a possible health risk for anyone who is allergic or has an intolerance to barley or gluten and/or milk. (FSA)

**Asda Free From Chocolate Chunk Cookies withdrawn
Asda has withdrawn one date code of Asda Free From Chocolate Chunk Cookies as some packs may contain Stem Ginger Cookies, therefore the allergen information is incorrect and the presence of sulphites is not declared on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for those sensitive to sulphites. (FSA)

**Shazans Beef Burgers and Lamb Burgers withdrawn
Shazan Food Ltd has withdrawn all packs of Shazans Beef Burgers and Lamb Burgers because the products contain wheat and sulphites, which is not mentioned in the allergen information on the product labels. Also, the sulphites are not mentioned on the ingredients list. The burgers are a possible health risk for anyone who is sensitive to sulphites, allergic to wheat and/or intolerant to gluten. (FSA)
