UK Recalls

  • RS UK Foods Ltd is recalling two Mazza tinned sweet products because they contain wheat (gluten), which is not mentioned in the allergen information on the product labels. (FSA)
  • Winning Ways Fine Foods Ltd is withdrawing three batch codes of its Fabulous Freefrom Factory Dairy Free 'Chocovered' Raisins because one batch of the product (code: L200614) has been found to contain milk. The other two batches are being withdrawn as a precautionary measure. (FSA)

Ireland Recalls

  • Following reports of illnesses associated with diarrhetic shellfish poisoning (DSP) in Ireland, Shellfish De La Mer, Castletownbere, Co. Cork is recalling the two batches of frozen cooked mussel meats
  • Following reports of illnesses associated with diarrhetic shellfish poisoning (DSP), Shellfish De La Mer Ltd is recalling batches of frozen products that contain implicated mussels: Chowder Mix, 450 g, 2 kg; Uncooked Chowder Mix (with mussels), 1kg; Frozen Seafood Chowder Mix with Mussels & Prawns, 1kg; Shellfish De La Mer Irish Seafood Chowder (mix), 180 g; Seafood Mix, 2 kg; Mussel Meat, 1 kg
  • Sulphites were not declared on the label of all batches of the following Kelly's sausage rolls: Kelly’s 8 Premium Mini Pork Sausage Rolls, 288g; Kelly’s 16 Premium Cocktail Pork Sausage Rolls, 288g; Kelly’s 4 Jumbo Pork Sausage Rolls, 320g

Australia and New Zealand Recalls

  • The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) says that there is a low risk that a small quantity of fresh fruit (apples and peaches) sold in late February and early March may have been contaminated with the Hepatitis A virus.
  • Klondyke Fresh blue, light, and trim milk and fresh cream may contain Listeria.
  • Manassen Foods Australia Pty Ltd has recalled Holland House Lumpfish Caviar (Black) from Coles, Woolworths and independent supermarkets Australia-wide, due to the potential presence of foreign matter (glass).

Canada Recalls

  • Dole brand Italian Blend Salad recalled due to Listeria
  • Meddo Belle and Okanagan's Choice Cheese brands shredded cheese products recalled due to Listeria
  • Kirkland Signature brand Grilled Chicken Breast Strips recalled due to Listeria
  • Co-op and Market Town Co-op brands bakery products recalled due to Listeria
  • Helados La Tapatia brand Frozen Novelties may be unsafe due to Listeria
  • Zing brand snack bars recalled due to undeclared milk
  • The Meat Shoppe Brand shredded cheese products recalled due to Listeria

US Recalls

  • Dole fresh vegetables voluntarily recalls limited number of bagged salads due to possible health risk
  • Oregon Freeze Dry, Inc. of Albany, OR has voluntarily recalled 59,780 cases of Kirkland Signature Real Sliced Fruit, produced exclusively for Costco Wholesale Stores, after determining the product has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella
  • Infinite Herbs LLC of Miami, Florida is voluntarily recalling one lot of its 2.5 ounce packages of Organic Basil because of potential contamination with Salmonella.
  • Fannie May Confections Brands, Inc. (“Fannie May”) is recalling 89.08 cases of its 14.0 oz., rectangle box of spring wrapped assorted chocolates because the box includes one piece of candy that contains peanuts, a known allergen, and the food ingredient label on the box did not state that the product contained peanuts
  • Simply Natural Foods, LLC of Commack, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling its 85g (3oz) Simply Lite Dark Chocolate Bar, because FDA testing indicated that bars from certain lots contained high levels of milk protein, while the label of the product stated that it may contain traces of milk
  • Helados La Tapatia, Inc., of Fresno, California, is voluntarily recalling all ice cream products, popsicles, fruit bars/cups and bolis due to a possible health risk from Listeria monocytogenes
  • Harry’s Farmers Market is recalling the following Wild Gulf Amberjack due to five reported customer illnesses: Wild Gulf Amberjack fillet, Wild Gulf Amberjack portion, Wild Whole Amberjack
  • The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) is alerting consumers to avoid eating certain peanut butter, cheese, salsa, and spreads produced by Parkers Farm Acquisition, LLC of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, after state agriculture department product sampling determined some of the finished products to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes bacteria
