UK Recalls

  • The Good Food Company Ltd is recalling Wrapid Fajita Chicken Tortilla Wraps because the product contains milk, which is not mentioned in the allergy advice box. (FSA)
  • Sainsbury's is recalling its 'by Sainsbury's' pitted black olives 350g jars, because a limited number of jars may contain small pieces of glass. (FSA)
  • Nisa is recalling 2-litre bottles of Heritage Montgomery Spring Still Natural Mineral Water with a 'best before' date of May 2016, because some bottles have been found to have small black particles floating in them. (FSA)
  • Fulfil UK is recalling packs of Marybake Muffins with a 'best before' date that is before 16 August 2014 because there is no clear mention of milk on the product label. (FSA)
  • Dilly & Wolf has recalled two snack products because the products may contain peanuts due to cross contamination during the manufacture of one of the ingredients. (FSA)
  • Tesco has withdrawn its own-brand Complete Chicken Caesar Salad because the product contains fish (anchovies) which is not mentioned on the label. (FSA)

Ireland Recalls

  • Nisa Retail Ltd. is recalling one batch of natural mineral water (2 litre), as some bottles have been found to have small black particles floating in the water.

Australia and New Zealand Recalls

  • Woolworths Ltd has recalled Woolworths Select, Spicy BBQ Chicken Kebabs from Woolworths supermarkets in NSW only, due to the presence of undeclared allergens (soy and sesame).
  • Woolworths Ltd has recalled Baby Macro Organic Tomato Chicken with Pasta Puree from all Woolworths, Safeway and Thomas Dux stores nationally due to the presence of foreign matter (metal).
  • The Good Taste Company 'Basil Pesto Aioli dip' has been incorrectly labelled. The label on the lid states 'Basil Pesto Aioli Dip' but the label on the bottle states 'Cucumber & Mint Yoghurt Dip'. The correct label is 'Basil Pesto Aioli Dip' and the product contains eggs and nuts not listed on the label.
  • Navitas Naturals brand Chia Powder and Smoothie Mix may contain Salmonella.

Canada Recalls

  • Kuo Hua Trading Co. Ltd. is recalling noodles, wafers, pastry and beverages from the marketplace because they may contain egg, milk or wheat which is not declared on the label.
  • Winnipeg Old Country Sausage Ltd. is recalling meat products from the marketplace because they contain mustard which is not declared on the label.
  • Sunterra Market brand bakery products recalled due to undeclared allergens (milk, sesame seeds, soy, sulphites, wheat).
  • Stawnichy's Meat Processing is recalling various beef jerky products from the marketplace because they contain wheat, mustard, soy and sulphites which are not declared on the label.

US Recalls

  • Rite Aid has initiated a voluntary recall of approximately 560 16 oz. pints of Mint 'n Chip ice cream distributed under the Thrifty brand name. These pints contain pistachio ice cream with pistachios; however, the ice cream was inadvertently placed in containers labeled as being Mint 'n Chip.
  • Ocean Spray today announced it has taken the precautionary measure of voluntarily recalling two production lots of Ocean Spray® Greek Yogurt Covered Craisins® Dried Cranberries because the products may contain yogurt covered peanuts.
  • HEALTH MATTERS AMERICA INC. of Cheektowaga, New York is voluntarily recalling Organic Traditions Sprouted Chia Seed Powder and Sprouted Chia/Flax Seed Powder due to possible Salmonella contamination.
  • GreenSmoothieGirl is voluntarily recalling two Sprouted Ground TriOmega Superfood products which contain Organic Sprouted Chia Powder due to possible health risks related to Salmonella contamination.
  • Eillien's Candies, Inc. is voluntarily recalling Dark Old Fashioned Sponge Candy because the product contains undeclared milk.
  • Olde Thompson Inc. Oxnard, CA is recalling to the consumer level Kirkland Signature Coarse Ground Malabar Pepper 12.7 OZ Plastic Jars with a Best Before date of 03/2017 and Lot #: OT 065099, OT 065169, OT 065254, OT 065255, OT 065256, and OT 065284, due to possible contamination by Salmonella.
  • Prepared foods manufacturer, Lansal, Inc.(d.b.a. Hot Mama's Foods), announced that as a precaution it is voluntarily recalling 304 containers (approximately 114 pounds) of Trader Joe's Egg White Salad with Chives packaged in 6-ounce plastic containers due to concerns about possible Listeria monocytogenes.
  • Dole Packaged Foods, LLC today announced that it is voluntarily recalling DOLE Garden Soup "Roasted Garlic Tomato Basil", due to an undeclared milk allergen.
  • Smith's Country Cheese of Winchendon, MA is recalling 21 wheels of Waxed Gouda, because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
  • Wegmans Food Markets, Inc. is voluntarily recalling Wegmans Ice in 18 lb. (UPC 77890 29200) and 7 lb. (UPC 77890 29197) bags sold between January 1 and June 10, 2014. This recall has been initiated because the ice may contain metal pieces from a broken part in the machine that produces the ice, posing a possible choking hazard.
  • Fish Family Farm, Inc. of Bolton, CT is voluntarily recalling milk products and cream as a precautionary measure because they may be adulterated with peanut and tree nut (pistachio) allergens.
  • La Finquita, LLC of Stamford, CT is voluntarily recalling one lot of La Finquita Quesito Fresco Campesino Fresh Farmer's Cheese, as a precautionary measure, because it may be adulterated with peanuts and tree nuts (pistachios).
  • Schnucks Bakery has issued a voluntary recall on Devil's Food Cakes decorated with pecans. During an ingredient/label review, it was noted that although pecans were visible on top of the cake (not baked inside), the known allergen was not disclosed on the label.
  • Wegmans Food Markets, Inc. in Rochester, NY, has initiated a voluntary recall of approximately 1,315 units of Wegmans Cinnamon Raisin Buns, 12 oz., because they may contain egg, which is not declared on the label.
  • DOMEGA NY INTERNATIONAL CO LTD, 47-57 BRIDGEWATER STREET BROOKLYN NY 11222 is recalling Gong xiFacai gift chocolates because it contains undeclared peanuts and milk.
