UK Recalls

  • Marshwood Farm Ltd is recalling several batches and 'best before' dates of a number of its Fresco yogurts as a precautionary measure because some batches have unsatisfactory pH levels. (FSA)
  • Worsbrough Mill has withdrawn various packs of flour, bran, semolina, bread mix and oats because of incorrect allergen information. The products don’t mention the presence of cereals containing gluten (some products contain wheat, others barley), which means they are a possible health risk for anyone with a relevant allergy or intolerance. Other products also have misleading allergen information. (FSA)

Canada Recalls 

  • Glen Echo Fine Foods is recalling Inverloch cheeses imported from Scotland from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. (Canada Inspection)
  • Merilin International Trading Inc. is recalling Merilin brand Black pepper powder from the marketplace because they contain wheat which is not declared on the label. (Canada Inspection)
  • Loblaw Companies Ltd. is recalling PC brand Triangoli Pumpkin Filled Egg Pasta from the marketplace because it may contain cashews which are not declared on the label. (Canada Inspection)

  • Gelato Fresco is recalling Gelato Fresco brand Toasted Hazelnut Dairy Ice from the marketplace because it may contain almond which is not declared on the label. (Canada Inspection)

US Recalls  

  • Taylor Farms Pacific, Inc. of Tracy, CA, is recalling the products listed below because they may include celery which could potentially contain E. coli 0157:H7. The products listed below are being recalled out of an abundance of caution due to a Celery and Onion Diced Blend testing positive for E. coli 0157:H7 in a sample taken by the Montana Department of Health. The Celery and Onion Diced Blend tested by the state of Montana was used in a Costco Rotisserie Chicken Salad that has been linked to a multi-state E. coli 0157:H7 outbreak. (FDA)
  • Bertagni 1882 SPA of Arcugnano, Italy is recalling Bertagni fresh Sweet Butternut Squash Ravioli and Meijer frozen Butternut Squash Ravioli because the products may contain undeclared cashew and almond.  People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to cashew or almond run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.   • Blue Buffalo Company is voluntarily recalling one production lot of Cub Size Wilderness Wild Chews Bones. This is being done in an abundance of caution, as the product has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. (FDA)
  • Raley's Family of Fine Stores removed Raley's Frozen Sweet Pumpkin Ravioli 10 oz. from our Raley's, Bel Air and Nob Hill stores on November 17, 2015. According to the manufacturer, the product may contain an undeclared cashew and almond allergen. (FDA)
  • Mi Tienda, committed to high-quality products, is issuing a precautionary recall for masa and tostadas produced in-store and packed on Monday, November 16 and Tuesday, November 17 only at the Mi Tienda #1 store located at 1630 Spencer Highway, South Houston, TX. The precautionary recall is due to the possible presence of metal fragments in the Masa Preparada by the pound, Tostadas Botoneras Rojas and Tostadas Siveria Large Tostadas. (FDA)
  • Mama Lina’s Inc., a San Diego, Calif. establishment, is recalling approximately 1,754 pounds of beef and chicken empanada products that were produced without the benefit of federal inspection, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. (USDA)
  • Boyle’s Famous Corned Beef Co., a Kansas City, Mo. establishment, is recalling an undetermined amount of beef products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The product contains hydrolyzed wheat protein, a known allergen which is not declared on the product label. (USDA)
  • Nation Pizza, a Schaumburg, Ill. establishment, is recalling approximately 59,028 pounds of frozen Mama Cozzi’s Pizza Kitchen products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The products contain soy, a known allergen which is not declared on the product label. (USDA)

Australia and New Zealand Recalls 

  • NulacFoods Pty Ltd has recalled No Udder Coconut Yoghurt 400g, Alpine Coconut Yoghurt Natural 500g and Alpine Coconut Yoghurt Passionfruit 500g from Coles, Woolworths and other independent retailers nationally due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (dairy). Any consumers who have a dairy allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed. Consumers who have a dairy allergy or intolerance should not consume this product. (FSA)
  • Celebrate Health Pty Ltd has recalled Superfoods Flaxseed with Cocoa and Berries from Coles supermarkets in NSW, ACT, QLD due to the presence of undeclared allergen (tree nuts - almonds, Brazil nuts and walnuts). Consumers who have tree nut allergies or intolerances should not consume the product and may have a reaction if the product is consumed. The product can be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund. (FSA)
  • Buderim Group Limited has recalled Original Ginger Marmalade from Coles (QLD, WA, VIC, SA & TAS), Woolworths (QLD, NSW, NT & ACT), IGA (QLD) and Thomas Dux (NSW & VIC) due to the potential presence of glass. Food products containing glass may cause injury if consumed. Consumers should not eat this product and should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund. (FSA)
