UK

  • Lidl is recalling Vitasia 8 Chapattis because they contain wheat (gluten) which is not mentioned in English on the label. (FSA)
  • 3D Trading is extending its recall to another three varieties of Cheetos snacks because the ingredients list on these products do not mention milk correctly as an allergen. (FSA)
  • As a precautionary measure, Bounce Food Limited is recalling its Cashew & Pecan Vitality Lift Balls and Apple & Cinnamon Protein Punch Balls, as the products might contain listeria. (FSA)
  • Garth Bakery is recalling its Chocolate Sponge Cake because it contains soya which is not mentioned on the labelling. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to soya. (FSA)
  • TRS Wholesale Company Ltd is extending its recall of Dhania (Coriander) Powder to include an additional batch because salmonella has been detected in the product. The original alert was issued on 29 March 2016. (FSA)

Ireland

  • Lidl Ireland is withdrawing a batch of Duc de Coeur French Smoked Sausage, as the list of ingredients is not in English on the label.  The product contains milk and therefore this batch may be a risk to consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of milk or its constituents. (FSAI)
  • Recall of Bounce Energy Balls Products due to possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes (FSAI)

Australia & New Zealand

  • Forest Gate Organics has recalled Mung Bean Sprouts from fruit and vegetable stores and health food stores in NSW, QLD and VIC due to microbial (Salmonella) contamination. (FSANZ)
  • Orgazmo Smoked Foods has recalled Wood Smoked Sicilian Olives from Farmers Markets in NSW due to potential microbial contamination. (FSANZ)
  • The Nut Roaster Co Pty Ltd has recalled Chilli Muruku (Thick) from fruit and vegetable shops and middle eastern grocers in NSW due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (peanut). (FSANZ)

Canada

  • Natural High Co Pty (trading as Bounce Foods) is recalling Bounce brand Apple Cinnamon Protein Punch Energy Balls from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. (CFIA)
  • Atkins Nutritionals Inc. is recalling certain Atkins brand bars containing sunflower seeds from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. (CFIA)
  • Kashi Company is recalling certain Kashi brand Trail Mix Whole Grain Bars from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination (CFIA)
  • Lemond Food Corporation is recalling certain Frozen Par Fried Fish Cake from the marketplace because it contains egg which is not declared on the label. (CFIA)
  • Saputo Inc. is recalling certain Neilson brand Partly Skimmed Chocolate Milk from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. (CFIA)
  • Bassé Frères Alimentation Oriental (2013) Inc. is recalling certain Bassé brand and certain President's Choice brand products containing sunflower seeds from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. (CFIA)
  • CLIF® Bar & Company is recalling CLIF® Bar brand Sierra Trail Mix Energy Bar from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. (CFIA)

USA

  • Fal Foods USA, Inc. (Fal Foods USA) is voluntarily recalling one lot of DF Mavens brand Chocolate Almond Fudge Frozen Bars produced in our Astoria, New York, plant, because it contains undeclared milk. (FDA)
  • Frito-Lay issued an update to its previously announced voluntary recall of select Rold Gold Tiny Twists, Rold Gold Thins, Rold Gold Sticks and Rold Gold Honey Wheat Braided due to a potential undeclared peanut allergen. (FDA)
  • NoGii is voluntarily recalling its Nuts About Berries Paleo Bars because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. (FDA)
  • Bounce USA of Bend, Oregon is voluntary recalling the Bounce Apple Cinnamon Protein Punch Energy Balls (newly named Apple Cinnamon Protein Energy Balls) because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. (FDA)
  • Creative Snacks Co. of Greensboro, North Carolina is expanding their recall of specific lot codes of bulk and packaged sunflower seed products due to the potential presence of Listeria monocytogenes. (FDA)
  • Honey Bunchie, LLC is initiating a voluntary recall of a limited number of Honey Bunchies Gourmet Honey Bars that contain SunOpta sunflower kernels that have the potential of contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. (FDA)
  • Kellogg Company (NYSE: K) announced that it is voluntarily recalling certain varieties and limited dates of production of Mother's®, Keebler®, Kellogg's® Special K® brownies, Murray® and Famous Amos® snacks and cookies because they may contain undeclared peanut residue. (FDA)
  • Herr Foods Inc. has initiated a voluntary recall of Waffle Works Brand 4 oz. packages of Double Chocolate Waffle Sandwiches due to an undeclared milk allergen. (FDA)
  • Frito-Lay announced a voluntary recall of select Rold Gold Tiny Twists, Rold Gold Thins, Rold Gold Sticks and Rold Gold Honey Wheat Braided due to a potential undeclared peanut allergen. (FDA)
  • Rucker’s Makin’ Batch Candies, Inc. of Bridgeport, IL is voluntarily recalling specific code dates of Dollywood Cajun Mix cello bag, due to the potential presence of Listeria Monocytogenes (FDA)
  • Pharmavite LLC is recalling specific lots of Nature Made® products due to possible Salmonella or Staphylococcus aureus contamination. (FDA)
  • Taylors Candy, Inc. of Alsip, IL under advice from its supplier is recalling Stuckey’s bags of Sunflower Kernels because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. (FDA)
  • Rucker’s Wholesale and Service Co of Bridgeport, IL is voluntarily recalling Sunflower Kernels, Sweet & Salty Mix, and Cajun Hot Mix because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes (FDA)
  • Lake Success, NY: MaraNatha®, under advice from its co-manufacturer of sunflower seed butter, is voluntarily recalling a limited number of retail lots of MaraNatha® All Natural Sunflower Seed Butter because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. (FDA)
  • Nature's One Voluntarily Recalls 'PediaSmart® Dairy Vanilla' Because of Possible Under-Delivery of Nutrition Using Included Scoop (FDA)
  • Brown & Haley of Tacoma, Washington is taking the precautionary measure of expanding its voluntary recall to include one additional lot of Mountain Thins “Trail Mix” flavor that may be impacted by sunflower seeds contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. (FDA)
  • Hostess Brands, LLC is voluntarily recalling 710,000 cases of select snack cakes and donuts as a direct result of the recent recall by our supplier, Grain Craft, of certain lots of its flour for undeclared peanut residue.  The Hostess Brands products subject to the recall were produced using the Grain Craft flour that has now been recalled and, as a result, these products may contain low levels of undeclared peanut residue.   • Kashi Company Voluntarily Recalls Two Varieties of Snack Bars and Two Varieties of Bear Naked® Granola Due to Potential Health Risk After Sunflower Seed Supplier Increases Scope of Impacted Products (FDA)
  • Bayou Brothers of Austin, Texas is recalling its 33 oz. jars of its Bayou Brothers Creole Sauce because it contains undeclared fish. (FDA)
  • Hy-Vee, Inc., based in West Des Moines, Iowa, is voluntarily recalling one of its salad toppings and additional trail mix products across its eight-state region due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. (FDA)
  • Emeryville, CA. Clif Bar & Company is initiating a voluntary recall of certain CLIF BAR® Nuts & Seeds energy bars, CLIF BAR® Sierra Trail Mix energy bars, and CLIF® Mojo® Mountain Mix® trail mix bars, sold nationally, after its ingredient supplier, SunOpta, was found to have distributed sunflower kernels that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes (L.mono). (FDA)
  • Windy Acres Candy & Nut Company under the advice from its supplier, SunOpta, Crookston, MN, is voluntarily recalling certain Windy Acres No Salt Sunflower Seeds, Windy Acres Fruity Trail Mix & Jungle Jim’s Roast No Salt Sunflower Seeds due to potential contamination of Listeria monocytogenes. (FDA)
  • The Quaker Oats Company, a subsidiary of PepsiCo, Inc has announced a second voluntary recall of all Quaker® Quinoa Granola Bars, as a result of further sunflower kernel contamination found by ingredient supplier SunOpta. (FDA)
  • ACH Food Companies, Inc. of Memphis, TN is recalling Durkee® Salad Topping, Food Club® branded Salad Topping and Hy-Vee® Garden Style Salad Topping because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. (FDA)
