UK

  • Premia Health is extending its recall to include Protein Active Shakes (including Diet Whey and Protein), Protein Active Paleo Bars and Premia Health Premia Whey Tubs, because they contain one or more of the following allergens: soya and egg, which is not mentioned on the product labels. (FSA)
  • Whole Foods Market is recalling its Yummy Mum’s Chicken Salad Sandwiches on Granary, Mum’s Chicken Salad (Deli Pot), Chicken Salad (sandwich on Turkish flat bread) and Picnic Mezze Set, as a small number of products may contain undercooked chicken. (FSA)
  • Sykes House Farm is updating its recall to include Yorkshire Outdoor Six Pork Sausages packs because the product has been incorrectly labelled with a ‘use by’ date of 25 July 2016. The company has previously recalled its Smiths Beef & Caramelised Onion Burgers. (FSA)
  • Frozen Value Ltd has recalled Gut & Gunstig Rocket Ice Lollies because the product contains lactose, and the word 'milk' is not mentioned on the label. (FSA)
  • Booths is recalling its Creamy Lancashire Cheese Sandwich because it contains egg mayonnaise. The presence of egg and mustard is not mentioned on the label. (FSA)
  • Nutricia is recalling a batch of its Paediatric Seravit Unflavoured due to increased levels of amino acids, minerals and fats. (FSA)
  • Sainsbury’s and Tesco are recalling some of their canned pasta products as they may contain pieces of rubber. These products were all manufactured by Noliko N.V in Belgium. (FSA)

Ireland

  • Marks and Spencer is recalling the above batches of its 2 Skipjack Tuna Fishcakes. Egg is present in a small number of packs, but is not declared on the label. This may make these batches unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of egg or its constituents. (FSAI)
  • Further to FSAI food allergen alert notification 2016.A6 (Update 1), Premia Health is extending its recall to include Protein Active Protein Shot and Protein Active Energy Shot, because they contain egg, which is not declared on the label.  (FSAI)
  • Tesco Ireland is recalling the certain batches of its Beef Ravioli, as they may potentially contain pieces of rubber. (FSAI)
  • Nutricia Medical Ireland Limited is recalling a certain batch of its Paediatric Seravit Unflavoured due to the possible presence of elevated levels of amino acids, minerals and fats. (FSAI)

Australia and New Zealand

  • Pita Bread Ltd is recalling all batches and all dates prior to Best Before 02/08/16 of its Danny’s brand Garlic filled Pita Bread, Olive filled Pita Bread and Garlic filled Wholemeal Pita Bread products due to the presence of undeclared soy allergen. (MPI)
  • ALDI has recalled Hillcrest Chewy Choc Squiggle Muesli Bars from ALDI stores in NSW, ACT, QLD, VIC, SA and WA due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (peanut).  (FSANZ)
  • Woolworths Limited has recalled Simply Cook Chicken Chasseur from Woolworths and Safeway Supermarkets  in VIC and TAS due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (crustacea). (FSANZ)
  • Aldi Stores (a Limited Partnership) has recalled Baker's Life Hot Dog Rolls 6 pack from Aldi Stores in NSW and ACT due to the presence of foreign matter (metal shavings). (FSANZ)

Canada

  • A & E Distribution Inc. is recalling Fjord Laks brand fish products from the marketplace because they may permit the growth of Clostridium botulinum if sold refrigerated. (CFIA)
  • Indian Groceries and Spices is recalling Nirav brand Sweet Mango Pickle and Sweet Lemon Pickle from the marketplace because they contain mustard which is not declared on the label. (CFIA)
  • Veg-Pak Produce Ltd. is recalling Veg-Pak Produce Ltd. brand Hot Peppers – Red Thai from the marketplace due to possible Salmonella contamination. (CFIA)
  • Groupe Aliments Sara Inc. is recalling Chréa Pulpe (Fruity soft drink) from the marketplace because it contains sulphites which are not declared on the label. (CFIA)
  • Canada Herb is recalling Canada Herb brand fresh chili peppers from the marketplace due to possible Salmonella contamination. (CFIA)
  • Seoul Trading Corporation, Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, is recalling Woongjin Morning Rice brand Rice Flavored Drink from the marketplace because it contains milk which is not declared on the label. (CFIA)
  • Raices Food Inc. is recalling Verano Food Purveyors brand Mushroom Soup from the marketplace because it may permit the growth of Clostridium botulinum. (CFIA)
  • Ocean Brands is recalling Ocean's brand Flaked White Tuna and Solid White Tuna from the marketplace due to leaking cans. (CFIA)
  • General Mills Canada is recalling Betty Crocker Super Moist brand Cake Mix Rainbow Bit from the marketplace due to possible E. coli O121 contamination. (CFIA)

USA

  • Cumberland Farms announces a voluntary recall of its SEA SALT CARAMEL DELIGHTS flavor of Cumberland Farms Farmhouse Premium Chocolate Treats due to concerns of the possible presence of peanuts. (FDA)
  • General Mills of Minneapolis, MN, continues to collaborate with health officials to investigate a multistate outbreak of E. coli O121, and is expanding its recall of Gold Medal flour, Wondra flour, and Signature Kitchens flour to include flour made earlier in the fall that may still be in consumers’ pantries. (FDA)
  • Eastland Food Corp. (Columbia, Maryland) is announcing a limited voluntary recall of a single lot of Euro Custard Cake because it contains an undeclared milk ingredient. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume the affected Euro Custard Cake. (FDA)
  • Continental Mills has issued a recall affecting only retail Krusteaz Blueberry Pancake Mix, which involves product manufactured between April 2016 and June 2016.  The company was notified by our supplier that their product, a blueberry nugget, is made with a small percentage of affected flour which was recalled by General Mills because it may be contaminated with E. coli O121. (FDA)
  • The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR) has recalled Kroger Deluxe S’mores Ice Cream (48 oz, tub) sold in its retail stores because the product may contain peanuts not listed on the label.  (FDA)
  • Hearn Kirkwood is initiating a voluntary recall of “Evie’s Cheddar Potato Salad” because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. (FDA)
  • Out of an abundance of caution, two flavours of Betty Crocker cake mix sold in the U.S. and one flavor sold in Canada have been added to General Mills’ previously announced flour recall from July 1, 2016. (FDA)
