UK

  • Sainsbury’s is recalling its ‘Raisin Milk Chocolate 200g’ with a best before date of 28 June 2017 because they may contain hazelnut and almond which are not declared on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to hazelnut and/or almond. (FSA)
  • Waitrose is recalling its ‘Orange & Milk Chocolate Cookies 150g’ with best before date 30 March 2017 because some packs contain 'Waitrose Hazelnut & Milk Chocolate Cookies', and hazelnut is not declared on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to hazelnut. (FSA)
  • TRS is recalling its 'All Purpose Seasoning' because the product contains mustard and celery which are not emphasised correctly as allergens in the ingredients list. This means the product may pose a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to mustard and/or celery. (FSA)
  • The Food Standards Agency (FSA) is alerting consumers to the recall of batch G14 of Lanark White cheese in Scotland because it may contain E.coli O157 bacteria. The cheese has been distributed in Scotland however people visiting there may have bought it, so the FSA is warning all consumers about the product. (FSA)
  • Errington Cheese has instigated a precautionary recall of Dunsyre Blue Cheese from a specific batch (E24) because it may contain shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC). (FSA)
  • Linwoods is recalling its Multigrain Loaf due to inconsistent emphasis of wheat ingredients and a soya ingredient. Some wheat ingredients are emphasised but one is not, leading to inconsistency of presentation. Due to the lack of emphasis of the soya ingredient, this product may pose a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to soya. (FSA)
  • Abel and Cole recalls various batches of its Sesame Seeds and Omega Seed Mix because salmonella has been found in the sesame seeds. (FSA)

Ireland

  • Lidl Ireland is withdrawing the batch no: L25374 of Alesto Erdnusse/Arachidi, as the label and ingredients list are not in English. The product contains peanuts and may also contain other nuts.  This batch may be a risk to consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of peanut or its constituents. (FSAI)
  • Suma UK Recalls Batches of Organic Sesame Seeds and Organic Omega Mix Due to the Possible Presence of Salmonella (FSAI)
  • Linwoods Bakery is recalling batches of its Multigrain Loaf because the product contains soya which is not emphasised as an allergen in the ingredients list. (FSAI)

Australia and New Zealand

  • CocoLuscious has recalled: CocoLuscious Certified Organic Coconut Milk Ice Dream PEPPERMINT CHOC CHIP 500mL, CocoLuscious Certified Organic Coconut Milk Ice Dream VANILLA CHOC CHIP 500mL, CocoLuscious Certified Organic Dessert Sauce Chocolate Fudge Sauce 150g, and CocoLuscious Certified Organic Coconut Milk Chocolate 50g from IGAs, independent stores, restuarants and Chocoholics in NSW, ACT, QLD, VIC, SA, WA due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (milk).   • Ottogi NZ Ltd is recalling all batches and dates of its Nonghyup Moguchon Inc brand Canned Retort Ham (cheese) due to the presence of undeclared allergens soy and milk (MPI)

Canada

  • Sardo Foods is recalling Sardo brand Arugula Pesto from the marketplace because it may contain milk which is not declared on the label. People with an allergy to milk should not consume the recalled product. (CFIA)
  • Amsterdam Brewery is recalling Amsterdam Brewery brand Sweetwater Squeeze Blood Orange Radler, which is sold individually or in a Summer Entertainer variety pack, from the marketplace due to swelling and bursting cans. (CFIA)
  • Kraft Heinz Canada is recalling Heinz brand strained prunes from the marketplace due to possible presence of pieces of rubber. (CFIA)
  • Fisherman's Market International Inc. is recalling Standard Northern Nova Oysters brand oysters due to possible Vibrio parahaemolyticus contamination. (CFIA)
  • Bulk Barrel is recalling No Sugar Added Almond Butter Crunch from the marketplace due to possible Salmonella contamination. (CFIA)
  • Atlantic Shellfish Products Inc. is recalling Atlantic Shellfish Products Inc. brand oysters from the marketplace due to possible Salmonella contamination (CFIA)

USA

  • Asher’s Chocolates/Lewistown, Inc., an affiliated partner of Chester A. Asher Inc. (“Asher’s”) is initiating a voluntary recall of multiple chocolates, chocolate bars, cellophane wrapped chocolates, and individually wrapped chocolates, etc. under the Asher’s brand due to possible Salmonella contamination of items produced in their Lewistown, PA facility distributed nationwide. (FDA)
  • Wegmans Food Markets, Inc. is voluntarily recalling one date code of Wegmans Italian Classics Striped Ricotta & Spinach Ravioli, 9 oz. (UPC # 0-77890-38934), sold between Tuesday, Aug. 2 and Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016 because the product may contain pieces of white plastic. (FDA)
  • Regalo Bakery is recalling the following products due to undeclared Eggs, Wheat, Milk, Soy, and Artificial Food Coloring: "Spanish Rolls", "Manju Blackbeans(Hopia Monggo)", Manju Onions(Hopia Baboy)", "Balintawak", and "Taro Bread". "Kababayan" contains no egg, but contains wheat, soy, and artificial food colorings. (FDA)
  • The Morrison Milling Company has initiated a recall of a batch of The Baker’s Scoop HEB 100% Whole Wheat Flour due to the possibility of the presence of soft nylon fragments of mesh resembling white hair, caused by a faulty screen at our production facility. (FDA)
  • Publix Super Markets is issuing a voluntary recall for Apple Coffee Cakes due to the possible presence of small metal shavings. (FDA)
  • Island Soups Company, Inc. of Saint Albans, New York is recalling a number of pea products because they have the potential to be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum. (FDA)
  • Kanan Enterprises announces the voluntary recall of Southern Grove Cashews with Sea Salt due to possible presence of peanuts. (FDA)
  • Shearer’s Foods, LLC of Massillon, OH is recalling Meijer brand 8.5 ounce packages of No Salt Added Kettle Cooked Potato Chips because they may contain undeclared soy and milk. (FDA)
