UK
  • SPAR UK is recalling a batch of its own brand Midget Gems, because they may be contaminated by small pieces of wood. (FSA)
  • The Food Standards Agency is alerting consumers to the recall of all cheese produced by Errington Cheese Ltd. A number of different types of cheese produced by the company have tested positive for potentially harmful strains of E.coli, including E.coli O157. (FSA)
Ireland
  • Johnston, Mooney and O’Brien Bakeries are recalling batches of Toastie bread due to presence of small pieces of blue plastic tubing. (FSAI)
  • Gem Pack Foods Ltd. is recalling a batch of Dunnes Stores Wholefoods Chickpeas, due to the possible presence of foreign objects (hard pieces of glue). (FSAI)
Australia and New Zealand
  • Linke's Central Meat Store has recalled Linke's Garlic Mettwurst, Linke's Plain Mettwurst, Linke's Brandy Mettwurst and Linke's Pepperoni from Salami shack, Schulze Organic Farm in VIC and Foodlands, Loxton IGA and independent small goods stores in SA due to routine food safety checks being unable to verify the safety of the manufacturing process for these products.   • Coles Supermarkets Australia Pty Ltd has recalled Coles Curried Pumpkin & Corn Burgers from Coles Supermarkets, Coles Online and Bi-Lo (QLD only) in NSW, ACT, QLD, VIC, TAS due to undeclared allergen – gluten (from wheat), due to incorrect back label applied to product. (FSANZ)
  • Stone & Wood Brewing Co. has recalled Stone & Wood Pacific Ale from retail outlets in Northern NSW, QLD due to the potential for chemical (cleaning fluid) contamination. (FSANZ)
Canada
  • Canda Six Fortune Enterprise Co., Ltd. is recalling Paldo brand Bibim Men Oriental Style Noodle Korean Spicy Taste from the marketplace because they contain mustard and sesame which are not declared on the inner package label. (CFIA)
  • AFOD Ltd. is recalling Chick Boy brand Pop-Nik snack products from the marketplace because they contain milk which is not declared on the label. (CFIA)
  • Central Epicure is recalling Wild Sockeye Smoked Salmon and Sensations by Compliments brand Smoked Wild Pacific Smoked Salmon from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. (CFIA)
  • Lemond Food Corp. is recalling Korean seasoned soybean paste products from the marketplace because they contain peanut which is not declared on the label. (CFIA)
  • PepsiCo Foods Canada is recalling Tostitos Cantina brand Extra Thin Tortilla Chips from the marketplace because they contain milk which is not declared on the label. (CFIA)
  • Peppo Foods is recalling Damascus delites brand Falafel Vegetarian Balls from the marketplace because it contains wheat which is not declared on the label. (CFIA)
  • Imperial Caviar & Seafood is recalling Imperial Caviar & Seafood brand Salmon Roe from the marketplace because it may permit the growth of Clostridium botulinum. (CFIA)
USA
  • Mt Kisco Smokehouse of Mt Kisco, NY, is voluntarily recalling two types of smoked salmon because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. (FDA)
  • Waymouth Farms, Inc. issues an allergy alert on undeclared pecans, walnuts, milk and soy in Good Sense Cranberries ‘N More. (FDA)
  • Sager Creek Foods, Inc. announced a recall of approximately 15,000 shipped cases of Field Peas with Snaps and Green Bean products which may have the potential for trace amounts of shellfish contamination. (FDA)
  • McCain Foods USA, Inc. announced it is voluntarily recalling retail, frozen onion ring products due to the use of incorrect packaging that does not declare milk as one of the ingredients. (FDA)
  • Krishna Food Corp of Neshanic Station, New Jersey is recalling cartons of BIKAJI Chowpati BHELPURI, because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. (FDA)
  • Blue Bell Ice Cream is voluntarily recalling select products because they were made with a chocolate chip cookie dough ingredient supplied by a third party supplier Aspen Hills, Inc., due to the potential for it to contain Listeria monocytogenes. (FDA)
  • Apple Tree Goat Dairy of Richfield, PA is recalling batches of Feta cheese aged 60 days, Gouda Cheese aged 60 days, Pasturized chevre and French Herb Chevre because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. (FDA)
  • Mei Shun Noodle, Inc. of Chicago, IL, is recalling its 12 ounce branded Rice Noodles as the products may contain dried, salted shrimp and soy, which are not included on the label. (FDA)
  • Ferrara Candy Company has initiated a voluntary recall of Brach’s® 5 ounce Almond Supremes with a best by date of 4/22/2017 after discovering that some Brach’s® Almond Supremes packages may include Brach’s® Bridge Mix, a product that contains peanuts and wheat. (FDA)
  • Kellogg Company is voluntarily recalling approximately 10,000 cases of Kellogg’s® Eggo® Nutri-Grain® Whole Wheat Waffles because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. (FDA)
  • Censea, Inc. is recalling its A-PAC 8/12 count Headless Shell on Black Tiger Shrimp, because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. (FDA)
  • SM Fish Corp. of Far Rockaway, NY, is voluntarily recalling OSSIE’S brand ready-to-eat salads because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. (FDA)
  • Drew’s, LLC of Chester, VT is voluntarily recalling one lot code of Field Day Organic Ranch Dressing due to product mislabelling that has resulted in an undeclared milk and egg allergen. (FDA)
