Cancelling the registration of protected geographical indication ‘Mostviertler Birnmost’ (PGI)
The application to cancel the registration of the protected geographical indication (PGI) ‘Mostviertler Birnmost’ was published in the Official Journal of the European Union.  As no statement of opposition under Article 51 of Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012 has been received by the Commission, the name ‘Mostviertler Birnmost’ (PGI) should therefore be cancelled from the register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications.

Registering a geographical indication for a spirit drink in Annex III to Regulation (EC) No 110/2008 (‘Гроздова ракия от Търговище/Grozdova rakya ot Targovishte’ (GI))
The Commission examined Bulgaria's application for registration of the geographical indication ‘Гроздова ракия от Търговище/Grozdova rakya ot Targovishte’.  As it concluded that the application complied with Regulation (EC) No 110/2008, the Commission published the main specifications of the technical file in the Official Journal of the European Union. As no statement of objection has been received by the Commission under Article 17(7) of Regulation (EC) No 110/2008, the indication ‘Гроздова ракия от Търговище/Grozdova rakya ot Targovishte’ should be registered as a geographical indication in Annex III to that Regulation.

Registering a geographical indication for a spirit drink in Annex III to Regulation (EC) No 110/2008 (‘Карнобатска гроздова ракия’/‘Гроздова ракия от Карнобат’/‘Karnobatska grozdova rakya’/‘Grozdova rakya ot Karnobat’ (GI))
Pursuant to Article 17(5) of Regulation (EC) No 110/2008, the Commission examined Bulgaria's application for registration of the geographical indication ‘Карнобатска гроздова ракия’/‘Гроздова ракия от Карнобат’/‘Karnobatska grozdova rakya’/‘Grozdova rakya ot Karnobat’. After concluding that the application complied with Regulation (EC) No 110/2008, the Commission published the main specifications of the technical file in the Official Journal of the European Union (2) as required by Article 17(6) of that Regulation. As no statement of objection has been received by the Commission under Article 17(7) of Regulation (EC) No 110/2008, the indication ‘Карнобатска гроздова ракия’/‘Гроздова ракия от Карнобат’/‘Karnobatska grozdova rakya’/‘Grozdova rakya ot Karnobat’ should be registered as a geographical indication in Annex III.

Entering a name in the register of protected geographical indications (‘Scrumbie de Dunăre afumată’ (PGI))
Romania's application to register the name ‘Scrumbie de Dunăre afumată’ was published in the Official Journal of the European Union.  As no statement of opposition under Article 51 of Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012 has been received by the Commission, the name ‘Scrumbie de Dunăre afumată’ should therefore be entered in the register.
