Product Development Expansion

Reading Scientific Services has made two new appointments in its Product and Ingredient Innovation department.

Kerry Tanner rejoins RSSL after working in nutritional development with Cadbury and Kraft Foods. She brings a wealth of experience in confectionery development to her new role as Project manager, and will boost RSSL's expertise in aspects of nutrition and regulation.

Lizzie Hall is a recent graduate from the University of Leeds, who joins as Innovation Technologist.

Working with RSSL's laboratories, RSSL's PII department is able to offer a wide range of product development/optimisation services focused on developing new formulations or modifying existing formulations to deliver optimal products. PII helps food manufacturers to address many challenges such as incorporation of new ingredients, shelf-life/stability improvements, sugar/fat/salt reduction and development of 'free-from' extensions to established brands.
