Getting to Know Changes in GDP

Massive changes in the expectations on companies involved in distributing pharmaceutical products are about to come into force.

The new 'Commission Guidelines on Good Distribution Practice (GDP) of Medicinal Products for Human Use' are due for publication imminently. The new guidelines will radically alter the working landscape for wholesale distributors, freight forwarders, agents and brokers, and everyone else involved in the distribution of pharmaceutical products.

RSSL has responded to the change by launching a new training course that will give a practical interpretation of the new Guidelines on GDP. It will cover what you need to know about the new Guidelines, especially the significant changes between the old and the new. With 4 pages in the old, and 30+ in the new, it is clear to see that the expectations imposed by the new Guidelines will be much tougher. Distributors that wish to ensure that their licence meets the new requirements, will have a lot to do to make sure they meet the standards that the industry is trying to set.

The first of RSSL's update courses will run on March 11th and will provide essential learning for everyone involved in the supply and distribution of pharmaceutical products. The same course will run also on May 2nd, with other dates planned for later in the year.
