Last year, RSSL’s Collaborative R&D and R&D grant funding support empowered organisations across food and life sciences to deliver new projects, advance ideas and investigate new possibilities. From the creation of the UK’s first digital community for Novel Food innovators to the method development and validation of new Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients, we successfully aligned our approach to achieve positive outcomes.

Now open: Women in Innovation funding competition

 

If you are a women founder or co-founder of a UK SME, the 2025/26 Women in Innovation funding award could be a gamechanger. Created by Innovate UK to champion and inspire female entrepreneurs, this year’s competition is aimed at late-stage start-ups in high growth sectors, such as agrifood, biotechnology, advanced manufacturing, health and sustainability.


With a winning 12-month package that includes a grant of up to £75,000 and bespoke business support to further ambitious growth plans, competition is likely to be fierce.
