Donna is a Chartered Chemist and Chartered Scientist with  over 30 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Starting her pharmaceutical career as an analytical chemist in the animal health veterinary and pesticide division, Donna’s speciality was the analysis of sheep wool and cattle ear tags for pesticides.  

She then moved to human health and has worked in both big and little pharma , both of which presented their own unique challenges. Donna has worked in stability and method development labs, process technology, GMP auditing, incoming materials QC, Supplier Quality, production QA and clinical trial QA, gaining her QP status in 2001. 

From 2011-2020 Donna worked as a Consultant QP & Auditor within her own consultancy, tackling  projects covering 2011 QP services, auditing to GDP and GMP (suppliers, contract manufacturers, specialist contractors), GxP improvement and training.  She is now VP Head of Quality for Paion AG, a manufacturer of specialist medicinal products for hospital use.
