Peter is an experienced Pharmaceutical QA professional, with over 30 years GMP, ISO 9001 Quality Systems, audit and training experience.

A Chemistry Graduate, Peter started his career in QC laboratories for a small generics company, before joining ICI (now AstraZeneca) in 1992, where he held QA positions and obtained his Qualified Person status in 1995. He subsequently led a global training organisation for several years, worked in R&D QA and Regulatory Affairs and became Quality Lead for major outsourcing programmes to India and Japan. Peter has experience across a wide range of dosage forms and has a specialism in Pharmaceutical Quality Systems.

 
Peter established his own consultancy in October 2015, after 23 years with AstraZeneca. He is an active, highly experienced international auditor and has ISO 9001 Pharmaceutical Lead Auditor status. Peter was keynote speaker at the 2015 IRCA Japan symposium on how Pharma has incorporated ISO 9001 into its modern Quality Systems.
