He joins from global life sciences company, Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he gained extensive experience managing a global network of microbiology labs.

An experienced Microbiologist and biomedical science graduate, Fernandes will be responsible for providing technical direction to the analytical team; ensuring complex projects are performed effectively, within agreed timescales and according to stringent quality standards. He is also tasked with delivering outstanding levels of customer service and raising the profile of RSSL’s specialist expertise at targeted industry events and conferences.
