RSSL managing the Coronavirus outbreak

Dear Valued Partners and Clients,

As COVID-19 continues, I would like to personally reassure you that Reading Scientific Services Limited (RSSL) is open and committed to ensuring business continuity. The spirit of RSSL is never as strong as when we are faced with challenges to unite us together. I am very proud of everyone at RSSL and marvel at the speed and creativity I have witnessed in the last few weeks as we flex to continue to serve you.

I thank you also for your very positive feedback recognising the critical role we have in the food and pharmaceutical supply chain, and the excellent collaboration you have noted as we help you get your products to market.

Of course, the health and safety of our team, partners and clients is our number one priority. We have put strong measures in place across both our Reading and Wokingham sites and feel it is important to share these with you:

 

  • We have created a safe environment for employees to operate in and where possible, remote working is underway across the business.

  • We have also implemented a ‘50/50 work pattern’ with our laboratory staff rotating in and out over a 7-day period.

  • Pharmaceutical classroom training has been seamlessly transformed to an online platform and from April-June all training courses will be streamed as live sessions. Courses can be viewed here.

  • We are committed, as ever, to ensuring we meet our GMP and ISO 17025 Quality standards and will be hosting remote audits during this time.

  • External visitors to our sites have been restricted to specialist engineers undertaking essential equipment qualification and repairs – with strict social distancing rules being followed.

  • Our Commercial team are on hand to help with any queries and happy to arrange virtual meetings to discuss where we can help with our expertise in analytical services, product development, training and consultancy.

    As the situation evolves, so we will adjust our ways of working to keep everyone safe and will keep you updated.
