This is a packed session that explores everything involved in becoming a Qualified Person (QP). Attendees are encouraged to ask as many questions as they like to ensure that you leave with a clear understanding and can make an informed decision whether being a QP is for them or not
We cover the role of a QP, the level of commitment expected of a QP, what you can expect from the RSSL training programme and the Viva assessment process and also look at the importance of the Sponsor as a mentor and the support they should provide throughout the training process.

Graham Saunders
Graham is a permanent provisions eligible Qualified Person (QP) who has gained extensive QC and QA experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry since 1983. Recent positions have focused upon the application of GMP and design/implementation of Quality Systems at international manufacturing Sites and R&D facilities - with extensive experience gained on all commercial dosage forms plus Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and Investigational Medicinal Products (IMP).
RSC QP Registration Standards Specialist
David Moulding, Registration Standards Specialist at the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), will be delivering a presentation covering QP Eligibility and the Application Process.
Caroline Tsang
Caroline has worked in GMP in the pharmaceutical industry since 1994 and has a background in Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Quality Assurance. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Technology and MSc in Industrial Pharmaceutical Studies. Caroline has been an active QP since 2004 and is currently named as a QP on manufacturing authorisations (MIA and MIA(IMP)) in the UK and Ireland. She works as a Quality Assurance Consultant / Contract QP and is a tutor for RSSL delivering the monthly QP Hot Topics Webtorial group sessions and QP Viva Preparation Training days. Caroline is an ex-QP Assessor for the Royal Society of Biology on the Joint Professional Bodies Panel (from 2012 to 2021) and has successfully sponsored and mentored a number of trainee QPs on their journey to become a Qualified Person.
