Dr. Milena Quaglia is RSSL's Analytical Bioscience Technical Lead, bringing over 20 years of industrial experience across biopharmaceuticals, food allergens, and clinical diagnostics. She holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Pavia, Italy, and has deep expertise in regulated analytical environments (UKAS and GMP), with in-depth knowledge of ISO 17034, ISO 17035, IVDR, and ICH guidelines.

Before joining RSSL, Milena spent over a decade at the UK National Measurement Laboratory at LGC, where she led pioneering European metrology programs and standardization initiatives on protein measurements.

She has authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications and represented the UK on international committees including the IFCC and the Joint Committee for Traceability in Laboratory Medicine. Milena is an RSC Fellow and a member of the RSC Analytical Bioscience Committee
